BORDER ANTIQUES has always maintained a unique antique inventory that preserves the Spanish colonial frontier flavor of the United States and the Mexican borderlands. For many years Border Antiques was located in shops throughout Central and South Texas. Many a summer was also spent marketing Mexican antiques in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The business has experienced a revival south of the Border in beautiful San Miguel de Allende. I do not have a shop. You may purchase online, or either call or email for an appointment if you are visiting San Miguel and would like to view in person the available merchandise. might choose prior to the offering of merchandise on eBay. It is
planned to gradually auction all merchandise at prices that might be greater
or lesser than the pre-auction prices listed on these pages. All
prices are in U.S.dollars. There are no discounts other than when specified.

address for FedEx delivery. You may pay through PayPal that will

RETURN of purchase is practical because of
many complications that would arise in attempting to ship the item back
to Mexico from outside the country. As much as I would like to offer
a satisfaction guaranteed policy, I unfortunately cannot do it. Study
the descriptions and pictures carefully. Feel free to ask questions.
I will be honest and cooperative with you in all my responses--but once
you receive the item it cannot be returned. Once that you have done
business with me, I am confident that you will appreciate the quality merchandise
and service that you will receive. You might want to read the feedback
that happy eBay customers have posted on my behalf.
SHIPPING EXPENSE
is costly from Mexico to outside the country--probably three times
as expensive as shipping costs in the United States. This is
one reason the low-priced antiques are not included on this
site. The shipping would be more costly than the item.
Minimum shipping cost for any item is $40.00. Shipping charges are
listed with each item. The costs listed are only for shipment from Mexico
to the mainland United States. Buyers from other destinations
will be expected to pay actual shipping charges as well as any custom
duties or any incoming wire transfer fees. To calculate shipping for multiple
purchases to be shipped in the same box, take the listed shipping cost
of the most costly to ship and add only one-half the cost of shipping
each additional item. Write for shipping estimates if not given with
the item. Delivery is guaranteed. It would be impractical to
ship some of the larger or more delicate items. Those particular
items are shown for customers who plan to pick up merchandise in San Miguel.
