the Moor Killer Carved Statue

and the horse have glass eyes. 4 metal legs on very heavy mesquite
base
Size: Nose to tip of tail 26 inches. Height floor to
tip of helmet 31 inches.

past replacement and is a little wavy in places because the bottom layer of
paint was not properly sanded off. The thumb on the sword hand is missing.
Approximate Age: 100 years
Price: $1,800 or best offer, subject to prior sale on eBay. Call or write me first if interested.
Shipping: Free Shipping. Will only ship to original 48
states of USA. The piece/pieces will need a large and heavy duty
container with careful and costly packing. If the winner of the auction
is able to make local pick up in Brownsville Texas, I will gladly discount 200
dollars from the closing price.
The piece will be shipped disassembled as shown in the last two pictures.
Reassembly by the buyer is simple with no tools needed. I would recommend
that the assembly begin with the heavy base first positioned in the place where
the piece is to be displayed since the entire statue is heavy and a little
shaky to carry.
Other Information:
The statue represents Santiago trampling a Moor in battle.
The story goes that Santiago mysteriously appeared to the Spaniards in their battle to drive the Moors from Spain.
Santiago then became the patron saint in future battles including their
battles against the indigenous tribes on the American continents.
Found in Mexico.
